  • What is Firehouse AED?

We are a company that was founded by first responders who think that there are not enough AED devices available. There are AEDs in schools, airports, and some large businesses. This is not enough. We decided to change this problem by making AEDs available to homes and small businesses. More importantly, we want to train you to use the devices so that you are comfortable and capable in an emergency situation.

  • What is the big deal? I know CPR and know how to call 911.

These are important things to know. But you should also know that the chances of saving someone with CPR and calling 911 are terrible. The reason is that the response time is simply too long to save someone with cardiac arrest. For every minute that a person in need of a shock does not receive it, they lose 10% chance of survival. If you live more than 1 minute away from an AED (almost everyone), then you need to seriously consider what will happen if this terrible event happens to you, your family, or friend.

  • What else do I need? Is an AED everything that will make my home safe?

You need training. In the emergency business, firefighters and paramedics know that their response to an emergency situation is only as good as their training. At Firehouse, you will be trained by the best. Founded by emergency medicine physicians and firefighter/paramedics, we will give you the most up to date training and instruction at your home or place of business. You will not have to schedule an inconvenient training class at a remote location. We come to you and show you everything you need to know.
