About Us
Firehouse AED comprises a team of experts in cardiac arrest. Lead by Emergency Medicine Physician Dr. Alex Black, our Firefighter Paramedics will you how and when to react during an emergency.
Dr. Alex Black
Dr. Alex Black is a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician and former Dallas Firefighter Paramedic. In January 2023, his father suffered a cardiac arrest at home. With no prior medical training other than AED instruction, his mother successfully saved his father using an AED they kept at the home.
Passionate about combating cardiac arrest, Dr. Black started Firehouse AED to bring life saving technology to homes and businesses. Firehouse AED recognizes our team of first responders, leveraging their expertise in training communities around the United States.
